50 years of Democratic dominance, and all they could come up with are 4? Only Clinton ever did anything truly helpful for the black community, and most of it was in reducing the number of people dependent on welfare schemes.

The more important issue is how they have styled themselves the only party capable of representing the blacks, and yet they have done so little, in proportion to what they have promised.

Furthermore, with all due respect to their positions, but

(Secretary of Housing and Urban Development||Secretary of Commerce||Secretary of Labor) != (Secretary of State)

I think we must also consider not just the “rank” of the position appointed to, but also the magnitude of power and responsibility that comes along with the position. Are all cabinet positions equal? I would say not.
