ST's getting lazy and reporting from secondary (even overseas) sources instead of pursuing the lead and getting their own primary info conveniently on their own local soil (e.g. interview w/ CEO Sim). 2. Blogs are always quicker to publish than newspapers, and by mentioning "a blog called Gizmodo (www.gizmodo.com)...", the Straits Times succumbs to the realization that some blogs have credibility after all (RE: the debate on credibility of newspapers vs. blogs). Ultimately though, I think this is a Good Thing?. This represents the media democracy that mass number of blogs enjoy in the company of mainstream media, which let everyone have equal share in shaping our world.
