Gimme comments and critique!
Calling all learned friends, lawyers, legal academics and anyone else who just wants to hantam me!
I’m posting up an essay which I wrote for my property assessment last semester, and I would like comments and critique so that I can improve on my writing and understanding of the law.
Initially I thought I did a good job, but upon reading and re-reading the essay over time, I began to feel more and more dissatisfied. Suffice to say, I was not happy at all with the result that I got.
So hopefully, I can receive some guidance and instruction from you all people and hopefully improve on what I’ve got, and change the mistakes that I’ve made.
List of questions can be found here[PDF].
I chose question 3:
“Property” is not a value neutral phenomenon. “Property” in a resource stops where the infringement of more basic human rights and freedoms begins.
Kevin Gray, Property in Thin Air [1991] 50(2) Cambridge Law Journal 252-307 at 297Critically discuss the above proposition in relation to changing conceptions of property. Illustrate your answer using arguments and concepts drawn from the environmental, natural resources and/or social spheres.
And my essay is here[PDF].
Let open season begin!
