Let’s talk about Tomorrow
I don’t normally blog about what I do at Tomorrow. Conflict of interest, that sort of thing. A whole semester of drilling in legal and professional ethics internalises all that paranoia.
The thing is, there’s this little kerfuffle going on about Tomorrow’s linking policy, and I feel that there is much misunderstanding and misconceptions of what we’re doing. I know this post is very late, but I feel I should at least try to clarify certain issues, given that I have never spoken on this before.

Monopolistic rent-seekers, meet Technology
I find monopolies to be distasteful, as a matter of personal prejudice, even in situations where monopolies are optimal.
Even more detestable then, are people or commercial entities who make use of devices such as copyright, patent or trademarks to implement anti-competitive practices.
