Public punditry only takes you so far. What really works is organising. Protests. Boycotts. Organising petitions and en masse letter-writing (whether to the government or the offending organisations). Education campaigns. That changes minds. Wittering on blogs does some of that, but it's not good enough. Don't give up on the change. Just switch tacks. I know how you feel, but maybe the problem is the tactic.
