So Kevin Rudd in his infinite wisdom rushes off his half-arsed guarantee on bank deposits, and is now quickly backpedalling on that promise .

THE Rudd Government has been forced to revise its plan to guarantee bank deposits after it sparked a rush of withdrawals from investments not covered by the guarantee.

Remember Andrew Loh? That fucking idiot who wants the Singapore Government to show “leadership” by doing the first stupid thing that he can think of? Yes, that one .

There’s a simple answer to that. When you’re the executive in a government, the last thing you do is to say the first thing that comes to your mind. In fact, it’s often best to say NOTHING at all. But of course, principles like that must be difficult for someone with a single brain cell to grasp.
