Hello!

I was wondering if 0APJIYUKK9 is still contactable.

After lots of soul-searching (more than that), I thought if he may like to tell me more about ops research and management?

Don't give up. Personally, I learn (and still learning) to avoid futile fights. Flamers and fundamentalists always look forward to a public confrontation ...sometimes, let them shoot themselves in the foot is a better outcome.

anyway, this SUPER WHITE HORSE is going to go far whether or not we like it. MIT scholarships are so preciusly prestigious that only his grandfather can afford to spend the money to send him there.
He did the right thing but handled the matter wrongly - its a lesson for him in the art of policiticking and lobbying to further his ideals in the face of cowardly guys who wear the commissioned rs.

Anyway, not all commissioned officers are idiots or morons. As one myself from my NSG days I used to serve with Li Yi SHyan (hmmm I wonder if they are relatives???) in the 3rd Brigade. Many of them scholars are honourable gentlemen - not the yelling shouting and barking type but they are thinkers at a vastly differently level. I learned that you don't need to yell and scream to "command" respect - their soldiers loved them simply because they think wisely before they act. Since my encounter with White Horses of the SAF officer's fraternity, I have gained a much better appreciation WHY they are the ones who get these expensive scholarships. Its because they are intellectually wel ahead of many of us linear thinkers. Scholars of this calibre are funto have around during oPS planning exercises - THEY USUALLY HAVE A PENCHANT TO OUT-THINK AND OUT-SMART PEOPLE LIKE THE C.O. AND THE S3 , WITHOUT EMBARRASSING THEIR SUPERIORS - AND MANY OF THESE WHITE HORSES , idealistic as they may be, have a very humble disposition - they know they are being watched and scrutinized - and they accept their faults and erros rather openly and candidly - in the end they are the ones who laugh best - because they learned its better to laugh last......

hi there,

good recommendations of this blog brought me here, where diverse viewpoints about important issues that affect Singaporeans are discussed and accepted. You said, "Would it make a difference if I did?", my answer: "Yes."

A good and relevant blog will be found in a net search, and I applaud the efforts to keep this blog perceptive, alive, and relevant.

Don't give up!
